Weir Injury Update

Everton Women’s defender Kenzie Weir ruptured her anterior cruciate knee ligament during Glasgow City’s 2-2 draw with Hibernian on Sunday.

The 20-year-old defender, who has been on a season-long loan with the Scottish Women’s Premier League club, was forced off just before half-time of the match at Petershill Park.

Weir will require surgery before undergoing rehabilitation with the Blues’ medical team at Finch Farm.

Everyone at Everton wishes Kenzie all the best with her recovery.
