Everton are in the running for several Barclays Women’s Super League awards for the month of January.

Gabby George and Jess Park have been nominated for Player of the Month, Brian Sorensen has been put forward for the Manager of the Month, and George and Aggie Beever-Jones have been selected as Goal of the Month contenders.

It has been an impressive start to the year for Sorensen’s side who have won three consecutive league matches for the first time since late 2020.

Recent results have seen the Toffees surge into fifth place, and only five points behind fourth-placed Manchester City.

England internationals George and Park have impressed since the turn of the new year, registering a goal and an assist each in wins over Reading and West Ham United.

Defensively, George helped to secure the Toffees' fifth clean sheet of the league campaign in last weekend's dominant 3-0 victory over West Ham.

Meanwhile for young forward Park, she scored her fifth goal in an Everton shirt with a superbly-worked goal in a thrilling 3-2 result against Reading.

In the goalscoring department, Aggie Beever-Jones wrote her name into the history books with Everton’s 200th league goal since the inaugural season of the WSL. A strike reminiscent of George’s effort only a week prior.
